Ronin1 day agoYess, but maybe in underdeveloped form. Think about a single cell life or about an virus or bacteria from another planet. -
Sirius Black1 day agomaybe there is intelligent life out there, but they just keep their distance... like they looked at all our wars and mess saw how we treat our own planet and each other, decided we are way too toxic, and put earth on do not disturb list until we actually learn how to behave or maybe until we start developing well enough to even minutely pose a threat to their civilization. -
Ronin1 day ago@sirius black if your theory is true then they won't reveal their existence to us. Because humans are not gonna learn how to behave, there is no reformation. -
Dogan1 day agoThere are, like, gazillions of planets in the universe, so with that logic, mm, yeah maybe.. -
Sirius Black23 hours ago@Ronin Well mate, you seriously underestimate the capabilities of your own species. Yeah, we’ve got plenty of mess, disagreements, and endless fights, we're far from being a perfect species, and honestly, our screw ups are loud. But look closer. Look at those mega research projects and massive space missions look at what we actually can pull off when we lock arms across borders in a behaved, organized, and coordinated way, mapping the entire human genome, building the ISS, peering through Webb and Hubble into deep space. The failures are just the messy growing pains of a species figuring something out of nothing. The story isn't finished yet, it's still being written, so let's not count us out, roll up your sleeves, and help fix the mess. The next chapter of this species is yours to build my friend. -
