Ieva1 day agoUsually, we treat people the way they treat us. If you want a genuine connection, you have to give one yourself. Not silence, not pretending to be close, but a real connection. -
Yuv1 day ago@leva I've tried and what i felt extremely bad that they're fake inside and pretend everyone will entertain their victim card. -

Yuv1 day ago@leva , That doesn’t really answer the question. It assumes that giving genuine connection will make the other person reciprocate, but someone who seeks attention and validation may continue doing exactly that regardless of what you give. The issue isn’t how to treat them - it’s how to set boundaries without feeding the behavior. -
Yuv1 day agoEven if you realize someone is playing the attention/validation card, maturity means putting your ego aside and trying to communicate at least once rather than immediately turning it into a fight. If you’re too angry in the moment, take a step back, apologize if necessary, and try once more. If there’s still no genuine interaction after making that effort, accept that they may not have wanted a real conversation in the first place. You did your part - take a breath and move on. Last comment from my side on this thread. One thing for you guys: apologize, ask them to stay if you genuinely want them to, but don’t chase or beg. Never. -
Bear1 day agoDon't waste your energy on them. Either focus your energy on yourself or the ones that want genuine connection. -
