6 days agoI dont have eitheir colour but I do have a black and yellow flag there not very big but il tell ya how i came about acquiring these flagsWell, it all started on a Tuesday, although technically it was more of a Wednesday because the Tuesday had been cancelled due to excessive rain, which was strange because it hadn’t actually rained yet. Anyway, I was walking to the shop to buy a loaf of bread, but when I got there I realised I had forgotten why I was going. So I stood outside for about 14 minutes thinking about bread, but not normal bread — I was thinking about the concept of bread and whether a slice of toast is still bread or whether it becomes something else once it has been toasted. Then a fella I vaguely recognised drove past on a bicycle. He shouted, “Is that your umbrella?” and I said, “No, it’s Thursday,” because I thought he was asking me what day it was. He nodded like that made perfect sense and cycled away backwards. So I went into the shop and asked the woman behind the counter if she had any batteries. She said yes, but only for things that had already stopped working. I asked if she had any that would work beforehand, and she looked at me like I was the reason the shop was closing early. I bought a cucumber instead. On the way home, I met a man walking a dog, except it wasn't actually his dog. It was his uncle’s dog, and his uncle was walking a different dog somewhere in Spain. Apparently they had swapped dogs by accident in 2019 and were too embarrassed to admit it. The dog looked at me and sneezed. I knew immediately this was going to become a problem. Anyway, I got home and realised I’d left the cucumber in the shop, so I drove back in the car, even though I had walked there. When I got there, the shop was gone. Not closed. Gone. There was just a field where the shop had been. I asked a farmer nearby where the shop went, and he said, “It’s probably behind you.” I turned around. There was a bus. The bus driver asked me if I wanted a lift, so I said yes, but then he told me the bus wasn't going anywhere because it was actually a large microwave. I got off immediately. By this stage I was getting hungry, so I went home and made toast. Unfortunately, I had no bread, so I used the cucumber. It wasn't very good. The moral of the story is that you should never trust a Tuesday, especially if it has wheels. Anyway, that reminds me — did I ever tell you about the time I lost a shoe in a swimming pool? Because that was actually the beginning of all this. -
